Getting the right share link

1. Open the public Xiaohongshu post you are allowed to save.
2. Tap the Share button in the app, then choose Copy link.
3. Paste the link into the input at the top of this page and start processing.
4. Pick the video or an individual photo from the result list and download it.

Why a link copied from the browser does not work

A link copied from the browser address bar is missing the xsec_token parameter that Xiaohongshu requires to open the content. Without it the post cannot be opened, even when the post itself is public.

Only links taken from the Share button in the app carry that parameter. Those are short links in the xhslink.com form, and that is the form you should use.

Accepted link formats

The tool accepts xhslink.com short links from the Share button, and full links in the xiaohongshu.com/explore/… or xiaohongshu.com/discovery/item/… form while they still carry the xsec_token parameter.

Links pointing to a profile, a search page or the home page cannot be processed, because none of them corresponds to a single post.

Posts with many photos

A single Xiaohongshu post can hold dozens of photos. The result lists every photo in the order it appears in the post, numbered so you can match them up, and each one downloads as its own file.

For a post that does contain a video, the result includes both the video and the cover image. Pick whichever you need from the list.

What cannot be processed

Private posts, posts that have been removed, and expired share links cannot be opened. Copyright-protected content is outside the scope of this tool as well.

The tool only handles public content. Please respect the rights of the original author and the platform's terms when reusing anything you download.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a link copied from my browser fail?

Because that link is missing the xsec_token parameter Xiaohongshu requires. Open the post in the app, tap Share, then Copy link, and paste the resulting xhslink.com link into the tool.

Can I download every photo in a post?

Yes. The result lists each photo of the post in order, and every photo has its own download button and saves as a separate file.

What if the post has no video?

That is normal on Xiaohongshu, where most posts are photo sets. In that case the result list simply shows the photos.

Do I need to install anything or sign in?

No. The tool runs directly in your browser and only processes the link you paste, with no Xiaohongshu account required.
