What to watch for

Differing page sizes are preserved: a mix of portrait and landscape produces a document with changing page dimensions.

If one of the files is password protected, remove the protection first — protected files cannot be merged.

Is my original PDF modified?

No. A new file is produced and the original stays as it is until you choose to replace it yourself.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

Processing happens in the browser and is bound by memory. With very many or very large files, merge in stages.

Are internal links and bookmarks kept?

Internal links can be lost when merging. Check the result if the document relies on them.
