Designing a post image for X

This tool creates an image that looks like a post on X, with a display name, an account name and text.

The result is an image file for illustration. Nothing is published and no connection to an account is made.

How to use it

Enter the details and generate the mock-up, then save it as an image file.

Useful for drafts: it lets you judge in advance how a piece of text reads in the familiar layout.

Where the line is

Do not create a mock-up that pretends to be a statement by a real person. Such images spread quickly and are read as genuine.

If the mock-up is published, label it clearly as an example.

Frequently asked questions

Does this publish anything?

No. Only an image file is created on your device.

Can I use a well-known person's name?

It is inadvisable. A fabricated statement can infringe personal rights and function as misinformation.

What is this good for?

For drafts, design examples and training material.
