How to Convert PDF to HTML Online
PDF to HTML Converter
This tool accepts PDF files and returns HTML files. PDF records only where text sits on the page, not which parts are headings, lists or tables, so the structure in the HTML result has to be inferred from font size and position. The result is an approximation, not a one-to-one translation.
How to convert PDF to HTML
- Select or drag PDF files into the upload area.
- Confirm that the requested output format is HTML.
- Start the conversion and review the status of each file.
- Download each result once processing has finished.
Convert several files in one batch
The interface currently accepts up to 10 files per batch. Files are processed one after another; duplicates, mislabeled files and damaged files may be skipped or reported as errors.
File size after conversion
The size is hard to predict, because the text is extracted while images are re-embedded a different way.
Check the result
Check heading levels, paragraph order and anything that was a table or a multi-column block. If the source is a scan there is no text to extract and the result will be empty.
Limits worth knowing
This tool changes the file format. It does not guarantee that every piece of metadata, every format-specific property or every embedded object survives the conversion. Keep the source file and test the result in the application where you plan to use it.
Frequently asked questions
Why are heading levels wrong?
Because heading level is inferred from font size — the source file carries no structural information to rely on.
Can a scanned PDF be converted?
A scan contains only images and no extractable text, so the result will have no text content.
Is my original file replaced?
No. The file on your device is left untouched.
