How to Download Your TikTok Videos Before They Are Banned

My Thoughts on TikTok Getting Banned

Hello, and thanks for stopping by. As many of you know, TikTok has already been banned in India and is on the verge of being banned in the United States as well. Honestly, the future of TikTok is uncertain, and if you want to take action, now is the time to do it.

This decision by authorities has disappointed and frustrated many people. Many of you created TikTok accounts to entertain yourselves with videos on the platform, but over time, you've built careers from it.

1. Download Videos One by One (Manually)

This method can be difficult if you have a large number of videos to download. Here’s how to do it:

  •     Launch the TikTok app and go to your profile.
  •     Select the video you want to download and tap the three dots while the video is open.
  •     From the options, choose "Save Video."
  •     Repeat this process for each video you want to download.

Using this method, you'll need to download the videos one by one. Additionally, the downloaded videos will have a watermark. If you prefer downloading videos without the watermark, you can use a third-party downloader (either an app or a website).

For the web, follow these steps:

  •     Play the video you want to download.
  •     Tap the share icon on the side of your screen and select the "Copy Link" option.
  •     With the video link open, go to your browser and visit downloadvideo.vn
  •     Paste the link into the provided bar and click the download icon next to the bar.
  •     The video will then start downloading and will be saved to your device.

That’s the first method you can use to download your videos. Here’s the second one.

2. Request Your Data from TikTok

Launch the TikTok app and go to your profile.
Tap the three dots (usually at the top right corner of your screen).
    Select "Privacy and Safety."
Choose "Personalization and Data" and then "Download Your Data."
You’ll be prompted to confirm your download by clicking "Request Your Data."

With this method, you’ll need to wait almost 30 days until TikTok prepares your data for download. Once it's ready, you’ll have four days to download it. If you don’t download the data within that time, the request will be canceled, and the data will be considered expired.

So, those are the two methods you can use to download your videos from TikTok. Once again, thank you for visiting my blog. You might also be interested in these articles: The Definitive Guide to Starting a Dropshipping Business, The Best Email Marketing Software in 2020, and many more.
